British Powerlifting Federation is unequivocal in its opposition to drugs in sport and strictly adheres to the IPL and there rules of Drug free powerlifters. All international lifters are required to register with the IPL and are included in their Random Drug Testing at tested competitions. In addition, competitors for British Championships are required to complete a Random Testing membership form ' as part of our new online application process, to enable tested BPF athletes to compete at IPL international meets and World Championships in the time period preceding the championships.
British Powerlifting Federation is the only UK powerlifting organisation to have drug testing carried out for the IPL .
In 2017 ready so that we may send a Drug free team to all IPL international meets around the World we will be conducting anti-doping tests, all at our own expense.

The British Powerlifting Federation ,is affiliated to the WPU & The IPL ,I am the current WPU president as well as president of the bpf .Our federation covers Raw Single Ply under the WPU ,and also Multi Ply under the IPL & WPU we are a federation that wants to give the lifters the best opportunity to compete all over the World . This years Worlds are at Ireland for the WPU and for the IPL Las Vegas ,Both are in October & November 2016 We also send our very best to Mr Olympia is September to Las Vegas USA ,and that is a Single Ply Event .This years Athletes that are going to Mr Olympia are 1.Marc Griffiths 2.Todd Flannigan and 3.Mitchell Masterson 4.Jane Stevenson
